Agile Leader

As one of Vodafone's strategic partner we are seeking an Agile / Tribe Leader to join their team on an initial 6month contract based in Paddington. The Agile coach will support the Leadership team to set up and ensure the smooth running of our newly formed Product Tribes. In addition, they will support the dissemination of agile principles across the rest of the Business Unit.

Key accountabilities

Tribe coach

  • Partners with Tribe Leads to set up the teams, and will also know how to coach product owners and business stakeholders in how to deliver value early and often, optimise flow for the tribe and assure quality through rapid feedback loop

Technical coach

  • Hands on support of development teams to integrate agile technical practices including TDD, CICD (DevOps), AB testing, carry out agile assessments to drive improvement
  • Provide ongoing coaching to the self-managed team to support their development and ongoing improvement
  • Provide 1-1 support to team members as needed to create high performance, particularly the Scrum Masters
  • Provide the educational support to the rest of the business unit on Agile lite
  • Be part of a global network of Agile coaches striving to improve Agile

Core competencies and experience

  • 5 years + experience of working as an Agile Coach at team and Leadership level
  • Likely to have been a scrum master or business analyst
  • Scrum Coach and or Trainer certification
  • Technically savvy, ideally worked in technology organizations
  • Expert facilitator, without authority
  • Brings positive energy to the team
  • Delivers results through an environment of collaboration
